Shopping for Equality.

I’m a member of the Human Rights Campaign email list, so periodically I get little email updates about the fight for equality across the country. Normally I just look over them, give a little silent cheer for the advances HRC is making, and go on about my business, but one I received a couple of days ago really struck a chord with me.

NaBloPoMo in Review.

Wow, excellent work, Jess! You really did a great job fulfilling the NaBloPoMo requirement, which is, you know, to post every day in November. I especially liked the last few weeks, where you didn’t have a single entry! :D

Well, I should have known I couldn’t stick to my guns on this one… I had good intentions, but didn’t follow through, which is entirely my fault. I kept telling myself it was just another missed day and that I’d get back to it, but in the end, it was not meant to be.

C’est la vie.

Unsoiled.

(It’s still Wednesday — I haven’t slept yet!)

I’m working on a new theme for Lianhua, which is going to be a little different from previous themes. With this current theme (and its green version) I started using Web 2.0 design elements, and I was pretty pleased with the results, but it still didn’t seem sleek enough. So the new theme is going to step it up a notch!

I’m also going to be changing a bit of the content around here… I’m going to get rid of the Accessibility section, which may be reincarnated somewhere else at some point, and start adding more to the Buddhism section. I’ve been meaning to write a few more articles and resources for it, but I think the fact that the Accessibility section was sitting there untouched was bothering me. So I’ll try to just focus on the Buddhism section, instead!

In addition to getting rid of that section and beefing up the Buddhism section, I’m also going to rewrite and revamp quite a bit of the other content around here… It should be pretty fun, hehe.

Any suggestions for things to add? Remove? Update?
