I did it last year, why not do it again?
Granted, last year I managed to do it on January 1st rather than… almost a week later, haha.
2007 in Review!
- January – the month when Jess was Anti-WordPress: Celebrated two years with Sean; Went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Carmel-by-the-Sea and mid-coast California with Sean’s family; had plenty of WordPress and blogging software woes.
- February – the month when Jess was Stressed: School was a pain; Traveling to LA for Chinese New Year was a pain; Toby and Oscar turned two years old.
- March – the month when Jess and Sean and Emily went to California and discovered they could spend a week together without killing each other: Went to LA/San Jose/Santa Cruz/San Francisco with Emily for Spring Break; Joined a gym; Failed at blogging.
- April – the month when Jess was HAPPY, for once: Birthday (21) at Cheesecake Factory, surrounded by good friends, good food and good drinks; Signed the lease for our Bronxville apartment.
- May – the month when Jess did a bunch of new things and loved all of them: Went to a Mets game; Started Light & Time Designs; Spoke out against PPP and foul-mouthed preteens; Moved into the new apartment; got Frankie the chinchilla; got an awesome haircut/style.
- June – the month when Jess learned a bit about moral problems: Oscar had surgery for bladder stones; started class at SUNY Purchase; onelotus moved/split to its own domain.
- July – the month when Jess pretty much had a blast: Went on a cruise to the Caribbean; went snorkeling for the first time ever; got our big comfy sofa (which we are now selling sigh); finished my summer course at SUNY Purchase.
- August – the month when Jess started Soapboxing: Went to Florida with my parents; started a new job.
- September – the month when Jess was too busy with school and neglected Lianhua: Started senior year of college at SUNY Purchase; began learning Chinese; lost touch with the internet.
- October – the month when Jess, Kimmie, Sean and Sammie got rear-ended by… a guy who didn’t speak any English: Got Sammie the chinchilla; visited Philadelphia for work; got in a car accident.
- November – the month when Jess and Sean decided to move to Los Angeles early: Failed at NaBloPoMo; had my first Thanksgiving in LA.
- December – the month when Jess moved to LA: had photos featured in Schmap.com’s guide to New York; told friends and family about moving to LA; visited family in Indiana after 1 canceled flight and countless delays; arrived in Los Angeles, for good this time, on December 27th.
Here’s to another good, eventful year!
